GENERATE CSR: CISCO IRONPORT C170

1. First, you need to connect to Network/Certificates, and be sure to choose Cluster mode. Then, Select ADD Certificates.

2. Next, click Create Self-Signed Certificate. Then, you need to type in the necessary fields where needed.

Country Name: This is the two letter code that is used to identify the country in which your organization is based.

State: Type in the state where your organization is based.

Locality Name: Type in the city where the organization is based.

Organization Name: Type in the name that is legally registered with the organization.

Organizational Unit: This is the name of the department that will be using the CSR.

Common Name: This is the qualified domain name that will be used to communicate with your server externally.

3. Then, Select Next and press Download Certificate Signing Request.

4. Be sure to save the CSR, and finalize the Self-Signed certificate by selecting Submit.

5. Lastly, you have now made your CSR. Now, move the CSR to a text editor in order to copy and paste it into the online enrollment tool when needed.
