CSR CREATION FOR CISCO MOBILITY SERVER


INSTALL SSL CERTIFICATE IN CISCO UNIFIED MOBILITY ADVANTAGE
1. When you are on the Cisco Unified Mobility Advantage Admin Portal, Select SSL Certificate Management and press Generate New Certificate.

2. Next, you must enter the required information in the text boxes as listed below:

Server Name: This is the qualified domain name that will be used to communicate with your server externally.

Department Name: This is the name of the department that will be using the CSR.

Company Name: Type in the name that is legally registered with the organization.

City: Type in the city where the organization is based.

State: Type in the state where your organization is based.

Country Code: This is the two-letter code that is used to identify the country in which your organization is based. If you do not know your code look at this link: https://www.digicert.com/ssl-certificate-country-codes.htm

Password: You must use a password to make changes to your keystore later. Be sure to remember that your password needs to be at least six characters long.

3. Now, you will be prompted to download your keystore file. You are able to label this anything you want, just make sure there is a .keystore at the end.

4. You will also be prompted to download and save your CSR. However, if you are not prompted to do this you should go to SSL Certificate Management and Select Retrieve CSR. Be sure to note that you must select the keystone file you made, type in the newly created password, and select Submit. This CSR is typically saved as a .csr or .txt file.

5. Next, copy and paste the entire CSR into the order form located within DigiCert.

TIP: DigiCert will ask your server type, and be sure to click Java.

6. Lastly, you can install your SSL after you receive your SSL Certificate from DigiCert.
