Microsoft Exchange 2013 SSL Certificate Installation Instructions

Generating a CSR in Microsoft Exchange 2013
1. First, begin by downloading and opening the ZIP File that contains your certificate. Your certificate will be saved under your_domain_name.cer.

2. Next, copy your certificate file: your_domain_name.cer to the Exchange Server's Network Share Folder.

3. By opening a Browser and searching https://localhost/ecp you can Access the Exchange Admin Center.

4. Now you will login using the Domain/User Name to enter your User Name and Password.

5. Next, Select on the "Servers" Link which is located in the Left Column. Next, Select "Certificates" which is located at the Top-Right part of the screen.

6. Select your specific Certificate from the Menu (It will be saved under the Friendly Name you have chosen for it). Then Click "Complete" Link which is located in the Right-Column.

7. Next, Enter the "Network Share Path" which is where the File for the Certificate is Located. Then Click OK.

8. Now, the Certificate has been Installed Properly to your Server.

9. At this point in time, you must Enable your Certificate for Use. This can be accomplished by, clicking on the "Certificates" section of the "Exchange Admin Center" and highlighting the specific certificate in which you wish to use. Then Click the EDIT button.

10. Next, Click on "Services" which is located on the Left Side.

11. Select the specific Service in which you would like to Enable your New Certificate. Then Click SAVE.

12. After you have SAVED your Certificate, it has now been Installed and Enabled to use with the EXCHANGE.
