SSL/TLS CERTIFICATE F5 FIREPASS VPN INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
GENERATE CERTIFICATE SIGNING REQUEST (CSR) USING F5 FIREPASS VPN
1. First, locate the pickup wizard in order to download your certificate files and Select Download. By selecting download, the system will create a zip file that includes two files: ServerCertificate.crt: Your signed SSL/TLS certificate and ChainBundle1.crt: The Entrust Certificate chain combined in one file.
2. Next, launch the Admin Console within the F5 Firepass site.
3. Then, Select Server.
4. Choose Security.
5. Press Install.
6. Then, launch the ServerCertificate.crt file in a text editor. Then, paste the all of the contents of the file in the box that says “Paste the new certificate in PEM format here.” TIP: You may need to change the certificate to a txt file.
7. Next, paste your Private Key in the text box that says “Paste the corresponding cryptographic private key in PEM format here.”
8. You will then launch the ChainBundle1.crt in a text editor. Then, paste all of that information into the box that says “Optional, put your intermediate certificate chain here.”
9. Lastly, Select Go to finish installing your SSL. You can also check that the installation was a success by going to this link: https://entrust.ssllabs.com
