CISCO ASA 5520 CERTIFICATE INSTALLATION SSL
GENERATE CISCO ASA 5520 CSR
1. Select the Cisco ASDM.
2. Next, locate the Under Remote Access VPN screen and select Configuration. This will open a window called Certificate Management and Select CA Certificates.
3. Next, Select ADD.
4. Then, you must create a “Trustpoint Name” (e.g. COMODORSAddTrustCA) for your certificate. Click Install from a File, and select your Trustpoint Name that you just created with the added .crt at the end (e.g. COMODORSAAddtrustCA.crt). Next, select Install Certificate. Be sure to repeat this for “COMODORSADomain/Organization/EvvalidationSecureserverCA.crt.”
5. You will now be able to view the Certificate with the Trustpoint Name that you created. Next, within Remote Access VPN, select Certificate Management which will give you the option to select Identity Certificates.
6. Be sure to Click on the identity that you associated with your CSR with the “Expiry Date” ready to be installed, so Select Install.
7. Next, click on “yourdomaincom.crt” and press Install ID Certificate File.
8. Next, locate and select Advanced on the lower left side of your screen and select SSL Settings. After that, click the interface you want to use for the SSL and select Edit.
9. Next, select the drop down option located next to “Primary Enrolled Certificate.” Then, click on your certificate and press OK.
10. You are now able to view your certificate details under trustpoint through the ADSM.
