MAC OS X EL CAPITAN: INSTALL YOUR SSL CERTIFICATE
        
        MAC OS X EL CAPITAN SERVER (10.11):  HOW TO GENERATE A CSR WITH THE SERVER APP
        
        
            When you receive your SSL Certificate, you must first install the intermediate certificate on your server.  Then, install your SSL Certificate on the server.  Lastly, you must assign the certificate to Services.
        
        
        i. MAC OS X EL CAPITAN: HOW TO INSTALL THE INTERMEDIATE CERTIFICATE.
        
        
            1. Save the Zip file your_domain_com.zip onto your server, the SSL Certificate file 		(your_domain_com.crt), and the DigiCert Intermediate Certificate file 			(DigiCertCA.crt) to one folder.		
        
        
        
        
        
            2. Select KEYCHAIN ACCESS.  This is located in Finder, select Applications, then select Utilities to view and SELECT the KEYCHAIN ACCESS option.
        
        
        
        
        
            3. Once you have opened KEYCHAIN ACCESS, SELECT System listed under Keychains.
        
        
        
        
        
            4. Select the DigiCertCA.crt file and move it  to the System folder.
        
        
        
        
        
            5. Type in the administrator’s password and press MODIFY KEYCHAIN to finalize the change.
        
        
        ii. MAC OS X EL CAPITAN: HOW TO INSTALL YOUR SSL CERTIFICATE
        
        
            1. Open the folder that has your SSL Certificate file (yourdomain_com.crt).  Make 		sure to keep this folder open in order to reference this file later.
        
        
        
            2. Select the Server App.  This in located in Finder, and below the FAVORITES 		option press APPLICATIONS.  Then, SELECT server.
        
        
        
        
        
            	3. Within the SERVER APP, listed under CHOOSE A MAC there are two choices to 		click based on which server you want to install your SSL Certificate:
        
        
        
            To install the SSL on this server:	
        
        
        
            		i. Click THIS MAC- YourServerName and then press CONTINUE.
        
        
        
            		ii. Type in your ADMINISTRATOR NAME and ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD, 			then press ALLOW.
        
        
        
            To install the SSL on a different server:
        
        
        
            		i. Click OTHER MAC- YourServerName and then press CONTINUE.
        
        
        
            		ii. Type in HOST NAME/IP ADDRESS, your ADMINISTRATOR NAME and 			ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD, then press ALLOW.
        
        
        
        
        
            	4. Then, within the Server App SELECT Certificates located under the Server 		menu.
        
        
        
        
        
            	5. Once on the CERTIFICATES window, select the Pending certificate that was 		previously generated when you created your CSR.
        
        
        
            	6. Then, on the certificate’s page (www.yourdomain.com), and select 			CERTIFICATE FILES.  Move the “Files received from your certificate vendor here” 		box to your SSL Certificate file (yourdomain_com.crt). 
        
        
        
        
        
            	7. SELECT OK.
        
        
        
        
        iii. MAC OS X EL CAPITAN: HOW TO ASSIGN YOUR SSL CERTIFICATE TO SERVICES
        
        
            	1. Open the SERVER APP, and select Certificates located under the Server list.
        
        
        
        
        
            	2. Once on the Certificates window, select CUSTOM from the “Secure Services 		using” menu.
        
        
        
        
        
            	3. This will take you to the Service Certificates screen.  Under the Certificate list, 		choose your new SSL Certificate for each of the Services you want to assign.  For 		instance, within the Certificate menu there is an option for Websites (Server 		Website-SSL) for you to click on your new SSL Certificate.
        
        
        
        
        
            	4. After this is done, press OK.
        
        
        
            	5. You have now officially installed, configured, and assigned your Services to 		your SSL Certificate.
