SSL CERTIFICATE SIGNING REQUEST USING PLESK SERVER ADMINISTRATOR 6


PLESK SERVER ADMINISTRATOR 6 CERTIFICATE INSTALLATION
1. First, locate the Certificate repository screen and Select ADD. You will be prompted to a window where you will enter the required information.

2. Enter the name you want your certificate to have.

3. Select the Bits that you want your certificate to use, this is the level of encryption for your SSL certificate.

4. Choose your country from the menu.

5. Choose your state or province, and city where your company is based.

6. Type in the legally registered organization name, and fill in your department.

7. Type in your Domain name that you will be using for the CSR.

8. Now, Select Request. Your CSR request has been generated. Be sure to remember your RSA Private Key for future reference.

IF YOU ARE GENERATING A CSR USING AN EXISTING PRIVATE KEY:


This may be necessary when you have already made a CSR request, but there may be some information missing. In that case, you can create a new CSR using an existing private key.

1. Access the Certificate Repository Page, and choose the certificate from the menu that has the private key.

2. Then, you will be prompted to the SSL Certificate Properties screen.

3. Select Request.
