PLESK SERVER ADMINISTRATOR 6 CERTIFICATE INSTALLATION


SSL CERTIFICATE SIGNING REQUEST USING PLESK SERVER ADMINISTRATOR 6

FIRST, YOU MUST UPLOAD THE CERTIFICATE PARTS:


1. Access the Certificate Repository page, and Select ADD. You will then be prompted to the SSL certificates creation window.

2. Then, Click Browse to find your certificate file.

3. Next, Select Send File. This will send your file to the repository.

4. There are two ways you can upload your certificate:

(1) You can select your file from the local network and select the Send File option.

OR (2) You can enter in or paste the certificate text and private key into the text boxes provided and select Send Text.

SECOND, YOU MUST UPLOAD CA CERTIFICATES:


This will verify your certificate authority.

1. Go to the Certificate Repository page, and choose your certificate from the menu. You will then be prompted to the SSL certificate properties window.

2. Next, click Browse under the certificates uploading section, and choose your Intermediate CA Certificate file.

3. Then, Select Send File. This will send your CA Certificate to the repository. This process can be done two ways: By selecting a file from the local network and selecting Send File or by entering or pasting the entire CA certificate text into the text box and selecting Send Text.

TIP: Be sure to note that just because you added your certificate does not mean it has installed onto the domain. You will still need to link your certificate to an IP address.
