GENERATE A CERTIFICATE SIGNING REQUEST (CSR) WITH THE PLESK SERVER ADMINISTRATOR


SSL CERTIFICATE INSTALLATION IN PLESK SERVER ADMINISTRATOR
1. Select a domain name for your SSL, be sure that it is set up for IP-Based hosting. You also want to make sure that if your domain has the www prefix, that it is included when you create your CSR.

2. Next, you will be prompted to the Domain Administration window. If you already have an IP based account with SSL, then the Certificate button will be active. If you do not it will not be an option, so you must first get an IP based hosting account.

3. Select Certificate.

4. Then, you will see the SSL certificate setup window.

5. There will be specific Certificate Information for you to fill in as outlined below:

6. Type in all the required information, and Select Request.

7. Then, you will receive an email from Plesk with your CSR. This email will contain the RSA Private Key and the Certificate Signing Request. Be sure to keep up with your RSA Private Key for future reference.

8. Lastly, Select Up Level to go back to the Domain Administration screen.
