SSL CERTIFICATE INSTALLATION IN PLESK SERVER ADMINISTRATOR


GENERATE A CERTIFICATE SIGNING REQUEST (CSR) WITH THE PLESK SERVER ADMINISTRATOR
1. First, you must upload your SSL Certificate. Within your account, click the domain you are using for your SSL Certificate.

2. Next, Select Certificate.

3. Then, you must locate your RSA Private Key and the Certificate request. Then, when installing the certificate you must paste the information associated with both into the text boxes. Be sure to include —-BEGIN AND END CERTIFICATE— text as well.

4. After you paste the information into the labeled boxes, Select Send Text.

5. You will get a notification if the installation was successful or not. If there are errors, you will need to enter it in again.

6. After that, you can Select the Up Level to go back to the Domain Administration screen.

7. Now it is time to upload your Rootchain Certificate. Start on the Plesk Server Administrator page and select your domain for your SSL certificate. You can access this by selecting the Certificate option.

8. Next, notice if the button next to the option labeled “Use rootchain certificate for this domain appears on this page” is ON or has an “X” next to it. If it is ON, then your rootchain is selected for you domain. If it has an “X” next to it, then it is not active for your domain. Make sure the “X” is chosen for as the correct option. To do this, you may have to toggle the On and Off switch if it is set as ON.

9. Select Browse, and look for the Intermediate CA file that was sent to you in your email.

10.Then, Select Send File to upload your Intermediate certificate.

11. Set the option labeled “Use root chain certificate for this domain” as ON.

12. Next, Select Up Level to go back to the Domain Administration screen.
